Professor Mohammed Odeh, President & CEO, Global Academy for DIgital Health (GA4DH). Mohammed has been the KHCC Professor of Cancer Care Informatics, King Hussain Cancer Center (KHCC) in Jordan 2018-2024; this was part of the initial secondment agreement between the University of the West of England, Bristol, UK, and KHCC in Jordan. He was the first globally awardee of the professorial title “Professor in Cancer Care Informatics” in 2018. Mohammed co- founded with KHCC in Jordan the Cancer Care Informatics formal initiative and discipline in 2016 aligned with several offspring international deliverables including: the 1st International Conference on Cancer Care Informatics in 2018, the 1st MSc in Cancer Care Informatics taught, and research programme, jointly accredited by Jordan’s MoHE, to run by King Hussein Cancer Center (host) and the University of Jordan, with input from the University of West of England (UWE), Bristol, UK. Late in 2024, the 1st international ambassadors of the MSc. Programme in Cancer Care Informatics yielded impactful graduates (as surgeon, physician, nurses, biomedical technologists, informaticians, and biomedical engineers) as cancer care informaticians). He has successfully directed the supervision of 20+ PhD successful completions with graduates in impactful graduate destinations. Mohammed has in-excess of 140 research articles as journal, book chapters and conference publications. Founder of the gDigiHealth.KEE Conference Series. His involvement in research funding has been related to total funding generated in excess of £3.5M in the form of EU funded research projects (eg contributing to EU FP5, FP6 and FP7 funded research projects), industrial Knowledge Exchange Partnerships (KEPs), recruitment of notable associates on research/taught programmes, and research funding through leading the innovation and development of research scholarships.
